BAI and CREDAI Mysore Chapters jointly conducted a Technical Talk on Skill Development Program in its premises at Vishweshwara Nagar Mysore today.  The august gathering was welcomed by Mr. Muralidhara. N.S – President CREDAI – Mysore.  This was followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest by Mr. Srihari. D – Vice President CREDAI – Mysore.  Guest of Honour Mr. K Sriram emphasised on future growth and development through NSDC.  This was followed by Chief Guest Capt. Kaustav Nath – Karnataka State Engagement officer, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) – Karnataka & Goa sharing a lot of important and useful information about NSDC and its activities.  He encouraged members of BAI and CREDAI to support NSDC in all its plans and programs to help the Government reach out to all people who need skill development and professional training.  This program was attended by more than 100 People belonging to common public, staff, members of BAI and CREDAI.

Capt. Kaustav Nath explained in detail of what is skill development, types of skill development and the need of Sector Skill Council (SSC).  He also stressed the importance and need of Construction Sector Skill Council. He further elaborated the role of District Skill Council and the Apprentice Act.  The benefits of the Apprenticeship towards industries and construction line and the certification post Apprenticeship as per the law of India including mandatory stipend under apprenticeship rules was also touched upon.  Capt. Kaustav Nath concluded the talk by encouraging the audience to ask for questions and answered all of them with patience.  The Program concluded with a Q&A session and High tea.
