Kaustav Nath – Karnataka State Engagement officer\, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) – Karnataka & Goa sharing a lot of important and useful information about NSDC and its activities.  He encouraged members of BAI and CREDAI to support NSDC in all its plans and programs to help the Government reach out to all people who need skill development and professional training.  This program was attended by more than 100 People belonging to common public\, staff\, members of BAI and CREDAI. \nCapt. Kaustav Nath explained in detail of what is skill development\, types of skill development and the need of Sector Skill Council (SSC).  He also stressed the importance and need of Construction Sector Skill Council. He further elaborated the role of District Skill Council and the Apprentice Act.  The benefits of the Apprenticeship towards industries and construction line and the certification post Apprenticeship as per the law of India including mandatory stipend under apprenticeship rules was also touched upon.  Capt.
